About Olive Branch, MS - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Olive Branch, Mississippi is a city found within the Memphis Metro Area. From 1990 to 2010, the city was the fastest growing in the U.S. As of the 2010 census, approximately 33,500 people resided here, and most of the city’s growth is attributed to middle-class families moving further out of the City of Memphis. There are many small businesses located here that provide employment opportunities, and the city is served by the DeSoto County School District. Four private schools are also found within the city limits.

There are plenty of things to see and do in Olive Branch. Olive Branch Old Towne features many historical sites and offers a Historic Walking Trail, Arts in the Alley exhibit, specialty shops, and antique stores. Serious bonsai hobbyists often travel into the city to visit Brussel’s Bonsai, which offers over 175,000 square feet of bonsai greenhouse space. Golf enthusiasts may like to play a round at Cherokee Valley Golf Club, while budding artists might like to visit Painting with a Twist.

Found within a humid subtropical zone, Olive Branch is known for its hot summer months. Temperatures often reach into the 90s, but moisture from the Gulf can lead to high humidity levels that require reliable cooling systems in local homes and businesses. A central air conditioner is one of the most common home cooling systems in the region, consisting of both indoor and outdoor elements. Since air is circulated throughout a structure via ductwork, residents can cool an entire home with a single unit.

Home heating systems are also required when residing in Olive Branch, although comparatively, winters here are milder than other parts of the U.S. Snowfall is minimal, and average daily highs stay in the 40s during the peak of the season. However, overnight thermostat readings can plunge below freezing, so a furnace system with a high AFUE rating is recommended.
